The Isolator (Helmet)
The Isolator was a distraction-reducing helmet invented by Hugo Gernsback in 1925, designed to block out external stimuli to improve concentration. It underwent design improvements to increase efficiency and included features such as glass panels for vision and an oxygen tank for breathing. Although considered innovative and partially successful, the helmet was short-lived, with only eleven units made before it disappeared by 1926.
