Telangana 2026 summer temperature tracker; maximum breaches 45°C to reach 46°C

The maximum temperatures in Telangana crossed 44°C in April third week and nearing 45°C. The sweltering heat made the State government take measures to prevent heat strokes. The Health department issued an advisory on the precautions to take during the heatwave. The Revenue (Disaster Management) issued a memo on the series of steps to be taken by Collectors and other departments to protect people from the hot weather. A marginal drop in the temperatures may be observed in the fourth week as India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad Centre has forecast thunderstorms in various parts of the State till Saturday. April fifth week began by recording the highest so far this summer as the maximum of 46°C was recorded in Nizamabad and 12 districts reeled under 45°C-46°C on Monday (April 27, 2026).
