Second tiger cub traced in Nilgiris
The Forest Department captured one tiger cub and located a second in Solada village, Nilgiris, after locals reported seeing two cubs believed to have been abandoned by their mother. The first cub is under veterinary care at Mudumalai Tiger Reserve with support from Arignar Anna Zoological Park. Officials are still deciding whether to capture the second cub. Both cubs were spotted in the Udhagai North Range.
