Uttam Kumar Reddy has reiterated that the Congress government is committed to revive the Pranahita-Chevella project to provide irrigation facility to combined Adilabad and Rangareddy districts by constructing a barrage at Tummidihatti as proposed initially.In a preparatory meeting held here on Friday to take forward the proposal by taking up the matter with Maharashtra, he asked the Aarvee Associates and IIT Hyderabad to prepare comprehensive technical proposals to initiate consultation with the Maharashtra Government for the construction of a barrage at Tummidihatti.
