“Lingerie suiting” was the loose concept Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave had in mind as they started thinking about resort. As it developed, the collection became more about different expressions of femininity than a hybrid of these two opposing ways of dressing. Disrupting the brute masculinity of pinstripes, the basis of many a Wall Street uniform, the two designers cut this fabric into a body-defining dress with a flirtatious white-lined frill at the hem.
