The Thadagam police in Coimbatore district on Wednesday arrested a woman and her two accomplices on charge of robbing a businessman of his gold chain and a mobile phone.May alias Baby (23) of Rathinapuri, M. Mohanakrishnan (27), and V. Kannadasan (28) of Vadavalli were arrested based on a complaint lodged by a 56-year-old man engaged in real estate business.The police said that Baby approached the complainant on the pretext of wanting to buy a house, following which he showed her a property.The woman, according to the police, later told him that she wanted to sell a plot of land at Pannimadai.
