The collision occurred around 11:15 p.m. near Intervale Avenue and Chisholm Street. Engine 82 Youtube/THEMAJESTIRIUM1 Authorities say the woman, whose identity and age remain a mystery, was crossing Intervale from East to West when she was struck by FDNY fire engine 82. The truck, driven by a 34-year-old department employee, was headed northbound. The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
