A 30-year-old traffic police constable was allegedly assaulted and publicly humiliated by three youths after he attempted to book them for triple riding at Nammura Thindi Junction in Nagarabhavi 2nd Stage in Bengaluru on Monday evening.The incident occurred around 5.30 p.m. during a vehicle-checking drive near B. Palya. Police constable Lakshmana Nayaka, attached to Janabharati Station, had been deployed for enforcement checks in the area when he noticed three youths travelling on a motorcycle in a rash and negligent manner in violation of traffic rules.According to the complaint, Mr. Nayak stopped the vehicle and began recording the triple-riding violation.
