Tracee Ellis Ross erik melvin Tracee Ellis Ross, of Blackish and Girlfriends, will take over the starring role of Broadway‘s Every Brilliant Thing when Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU, My Mom Jayne) ends her own run on Sunday, July 5. Hargitay, as previously announced joins the production on Tuesday, May 26, after original star Daniel Radcliffe concludes his February 21 to May 24 run as the play’s sole scripted character. Ross will perform in the Broadway play from Tuesday, July 7, through Sunday, August 9. That engagement marks the fourth extension of the show at the Hudson Theatre.
