Armed with this device, traffic police personnel have been stationing themselves at important roads within the city to zero in on overspeeding vehicles and impose fines on their drivers.The speed at which the vehicle was proceeding would be displayed in the device held by the traffic police personnel. If the vehicle was found overspeeding or the drivers indulging in rash driving they would be stopped and penalised.
