Thousands honor the fallen at Canoga Park Memorial Day parade

This years theme “Saluting the Price of Freedom” drew a crowd of 5,000 spectators gathered along Sherman Way. The parade paid tribute to fallen soldiers from every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Linda Rudell has been coming to the parade since 2005, when a member of her car club, Valley Classic Thunderbird Club, lost their son to the war in Iraq. Every year members of the club attend the parade and carry a banner in his honor. The parade draws spectators from all over the Los Angeles. Adam Harman and his family are attending the parade for the second year.
