The Hirshhorn Museum has acquired over 300 new pieces of modern and contemporary art as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. This expansion brings the museum's permanent collection to more than 13,000 items. The museum is also set to reopen its redesigned sculpture garden this fall, featuring works from eight artists.
