Testing OTP email flows shouldn't be flaky — meet AssertKit
AssertKit is a new tool designed to streamline the testing of OTP email flows in end-to-end testing. It eliminates the need for complex polling mechanisms by providing a unique disposable email address for each test. This allows for a more reliable and efficient way to handle OTP verification during user sign-up processes.
- ▪AssertKit simplifies the testing of OTP email flows by removing the need for polling.
- ▪Each test receives a unique disposable email address to handle OTPs.
- ▪The tool is available for both Playwright and Cypress users.

I shipped AssertKit to remove that bridge entirely.
