Long story short, Meg was not pleased with how things ended between her and the Dallas Mavericks star.On Monday, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith weighed in on the matter, and despite indicating he's a fan of Megan Thee Stallion, he called her out for publicly airing her relationship issues with Thompson. In his lengthy video rant, he mentioned the rapper's IG Story comments and her additional statement to Page Six, which he described as calmer and more composed than her IG Story remarks.More news: Paige Bueckers Shuts Down Azzi Fudd Relationship Talk Before Wings Season...Smith mentioned the various accolades and achievements Thompson has earned in his NBA career, including multiple All-Star selections and four NBA championships with the Warriors alongside Stephen Curry as part of the "Splash Brothers."In a strange commentary, he reiterated that he's a Megan Thee Stallion fan, and when he thinks of her, it's not about her music. Smith then launched into blasting the rapper over making public remarks about breaking up with Thompson, instead of keeping their relationship private."I'm having this episode on YouTube because I'm asking why is she telling his business? See, that's where I want the ladies to listen. I'm sick and tired of what's going on in this world. I'm not saying whatever she felt was wrong," Smith said in his latest "Straight Shooter with Stephen A" episode."I don't know what happened in their relationship. Don't want to know. What did I care what happened in your relationship with Klay Thompson? What did he do to deserve you all of a sudden going on front street Page Six, TMZ or wherever the hell else to tell the world? How come you couldn't just say it didn't work out? Why you got to tell the business?" Smith also asked.According to the ESPN star, it's not our business what happened between Meg and Thompson, and the NBA star "didn't deserve it" as he hasn't ever publicly said anything disparaging about Megan Thee Stallion. Smith is best known for his hot takes on ESPN's "First Take" and other programs, which are generally sports-related. He's publicly blasted multiple players and teams, including LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the New York Knicks. While Thompson is a professional athlete that Smith covers from time to time, his having an opinion on Megan Thee Stallion's decision to publicly comment on ending her relationship seems a bit out of left field. The 41-minute video features a lot more of his curious thoughts on the matter. The ESPN star most likely realized it was one of the biggest stories involving a sports star this past weekend and could bring him more attention for a hot take on celebrity gossip at the…
