The ongoing rift within the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) got murkier on Saturday with actor Ansiba Hassan accusing actor Tiny Tom and a section of the members of the forum of subjecting her to character assassination and making communal remarks targeting her. She cited the alleged harassment as the reason behind her resignation from the organisation on February 21. Ms. Hassan was the joint secretary of AMMA led by actor Shwetha Menon, who was elected as its first female president in August 2025.Speaking to media, the Drishyam actor alleged that Mr. Tom had accused her of attempting religious conversion, besides spreading rumours about her personal life.
