Remains of missing University of South Florida student confirmed through DNA
The remains of missing University of South Florida doctoral student Nahida Bristy were confirmed through DNA after being found during a search in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her remains were discovered days after those of fellow USF student Zamil Limon, both 27-year-old natives of Bangladesh, were found near the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa. Hisham Abugharbieh, a former USF student and Limon's roommate, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and other related charges in connection with their deaths.
