Pottsville Soap Box Derby sends three to nationals in Akron, Ohio
Three young racers from Schuylkill County will represent Pottsville at the First Energy All American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio. Marcel LeBlanc, Alexandra Womer, and Collin Kadingo each won their respective classes during the local competition. The event, held for the 49th year, showcased the skills of 41 participants racing down a hill beneath the Schuylkill County Courthouse.
