The Government Hospital police station here registered a case on Saturday in connection with the death of a 19-year-old nursing student -V. Seethalakshmi while in admission for a surgical procedure at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital here.The case was booked under section 194 of the BNSS on a complaint lodged by the student’s father M. Veeramani of Manakudipatti village in neighbouring Pudukottai district, said police sources.After completion of autopsy, the body was handed over to the student’s family members on Sunday morning.
