Obsidian returns to The Outer Worlds after 3 years to add a whole new weapon type, fix bugs, and delist its OG version
Obsidian is returning to The Outer Worlds three years after its last update to release a major patch for the Spacer's Choice remaster, which will include performance improvements, lighting changes, quest fixes, and the addition of grenades as a new weapon type. A smaller patch has already been released to test the update pipeline and address minor issues. Meanwhile, the original version of the game will be delisted from PC storefronts on May 27, though existing owners will retain access and receive a free copy of the remastered edition if they claim it before the cutoff.
