New weight-loss shot appears to outperform other obesity drugs on market
Eli Lilly has announced that its new weight-loss drug, retatrutide, has shown significant effectiveness in a recent trial. Participants lost an average of 28% of their body weight over 80 weeks, outperforming other obesity medications. The drug, administered via injection, also reported various side effects among users.
- ▪Retatrutide led to an average weight loss of 70.3lbs (28.3%) among participants receiving the 12mg dose.
