The expedition was organised under the aegis of the NCC Directorate of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and hosted by the 13 Andhra Battalion NCC, Visakhapatnam.Cadets from various states across the country participated in the programme, which aims to promote endurance, discipline, leadership qualities and national integration among the youth.The cadets were divided into two groups. One batch of 120 cadets undertook the challenging trek to Galikonda, one of the highest peaks in A.P.
