During the work, toxic gas reportedly leaked unexpectedly, causing all five workers to suffer breathlessness.The other staff of the factory immediately rescued them and admitted them to a private hospital in Manjankaranai for treatment. One of the workers, identified as Dhananjaya Malik (26) from Odisha, was in critical condition and was being taken to a private hospital in Chennai for advanced treatment.
