Matthew Perry Death: ‘Friends’ Star’s Assistant Sentenced; Ken Iwamasa Injected Fatal Ketamine Shots
Ken Iwamasa, Matthew Perry's personal assistant, has been sentenced to nearly three and a half years in prison for injecting the actor with fatal doses of ketamine. Iwamasa was also fined $10,000 and is the last of five defendants sentenced in connection with Perry's death. The judge noted that while there was no hard evidence of malicious intent, Iwamasa's conduct was deemed reckless.

Perry’s pal since 1992, and his $150,000 a year right-hand man since 2022, 60-year-old Iwamasa was the last person the actor spoke to before he died. He was also , in August 2024, was the first defendant to cop a plea with the feds in the whole sordid matter.
