The Cyber Crime Wing of the Tambaram city police arrested a man for allegedly morphing a woman’s photographs into obscene images and circulating them through Instagram and Telegram for money.Police said the case was registered based on a complaint from a woman alleging that her photographs had been morphed obscenely and uploaded on Instagram and Telegram by an unidentified person. Following the complaint, the Central Crime Branch Cyber Crime Wing of Tambaram city police launched an investigation.During the investigation, police analysed data obtained from Instagram and Telegram and identified the accused as Bhuvanesh Kumar of Somangalam, Tambaram.
