It's been a long time since I've indulged in a couch co-op game, and even longer since I've enjoyed one quite as much as Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight ($69.99). Available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S (reviewed on PC), the action game more than lives up to the hype. It takes the Lego games' signature family-friendly humor and marries that to satisfying, Arkham-style brawling, all in one homage-dense package that pays respect to Batman in his many incarnations, including comics, animation, and film. Although I started out exploring Gotham solo, Legacy of the Dark Knight became something truly special when I plugged in a second controller. My wife and son soon joined in, taking turns solving puzzles and beating up baddies in hilarious fashion.
