The series follows three women who are all affected by the murder of one of them, and must confront complex issues in their decades-long friendship in the process. The finale airs April 29.Star and executive producer Elisabeth Moss of the limited series shared during the For Your Consideration event in Culver City, California, on April 25, that the most rewarding and important part of adapting the novel for television was the heavy focus on the cast and their chemistry. "We all knew that it was really, really important that we had just the top-notch Avengers team of actors. And we got them," she added. "I really loved being part of an Avengers team where everyone takes responsibility for their superpower." She also shared that she appreciated how her character was rewritten as a Black woman, a stark change from the novel, allowing for more nuance and opportunities for a diverse writer's room. if (!window.cnxel) { window.cnxel = {}; window.cnxel.cmd = []; var iframe = document.createElement('iframe'); iframe.style.display = 'none'; iframe.onload = function() { var iframeDoc = iframe.contentWindow.document; var script = iframeDoc.createElement('script'); script.src = '//cd.elements.video/player.js?cid=62cec241-7d09-4462-afc2-f72f8d8ef40a'; script.setAttribute('defer', '1'); script.setAttribute('type', 'text/javascript'); iframeDoc.body.appendChild(script); }; document.head.appendChild(iframe); const preloadResourcesEndpoint = 'https://cds.elements.video/a/preload-resources-ovp.json'; fetch(preloadResourcesEndpoint, { priority: 'low' }) .then(response => { if (!response.ok) { throw new…
