Kerala man held for killing mother, brother, say police
A 43-year-old man named Saji has been arrested in Kerala's Idukki district for allegedly murdering his mother Marykutty (70) and brother Reji (48) in early April and burying their bodies in the family compound. Police exhumed the remains after a complaint from Marykutty’s daughter Sini, who reported them missing. Saji confessed to the killings during interrogation, citing property disputes and being prevented from marrying as motives. The investigation is ongoing, including into the 2018 disappearance of Marykutty’s husband, Mathew.
