The screwdriver is able to spin freely while you hold the cap in place to steady it, allowing you to quickly remove screws. When you need more power for tightening screws or other fasteners, pushing down on the Swivel Grip Cap locks it in place, allowing you to apply more torque and force to the driver with your hand. As iFixit points out, the Megalodon can be used as either a swivel driver or a static driver as needed, without having to remember which way you need to adjust a ratchet mechanism.The kit’s 16 included bits feature longer 2-inch shanks making it easier to reach recessed screws.
