When the new Grand Egyptian Museum finally opened its doors in November 2025, just a mile from the Pyramids of Giza, it validated every year of the wait. The largest museum ever built dedicated to a single civilization, it is designed to accommodate more than 100,000 ancient artifacts, including the complete contents of Tutankhamun's tomb displayed together for the first time.
