The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has appointed retired High Court Judge V. Bharathidasan as the ‘Inquiry Authority’ to go into the alleged irregularities in the appointment of faculty to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli during the academic year 2015-16.The court was hearing the petitions filed by the retired professors of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
