GOP Leadership Announce Nomination of Religious Freedom Commissioner
House Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader Steve Scalise have nominated Gene Mills as the new commissioner for the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Mills, a religious leader and president of the Louisiana Family Forum, will join eight others to promote and protect religious freedoms globally.
