Jefferson Lewis, 47, has been arrested in connection with the abduction and death of five-year-old Kumanjayi Little Baby in Alice Springs, following a five-day manhunt by Northern Territory Police. The girl's body was discovered near the Todd River, about five kilometres south of the Old Timers Aboriginal Town Camp where she went missing. Police allege Lewis took the child from her family's home while she was sleeping and have stated her cause of death is still undetermined.
