Four students from Telangana’s State colleges have been selected through screening tests to participate in the Japan Science High School Programme or the ‘SAKURA Science Programme’, conducted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency.The seven-day programme begins on May 24, and students will be provided an opportunity to visit advanced scientific and technological institutions, interact with scientists and gain firsthand exposure to Japan’s innovation in education and science.The students were selected through district-level nominations, and a State-level screening test was conducted earlier in January.
