Former Steelers WR Chase Claypool making NFL comeback with NFC team
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool is attempting an NFL comeback by participating in the Green Bay Packers' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. Claypool, a second-round pick in 2020, showed early promise with strong performances in his first two seasons before struggling after trades to the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins. His last active season was in 2023, and he missed the 2024 season after signing with the Buffalo Bills and being placed on injured reserve with a foot injury.
