Five persons from Ingalagi village were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a cruiser vehicle and a lorry near Neeladahalla, between Halkarta and Ladlapur villages, on National Highway 150 in Wadi police station limits in the early hours of Saturday (May 23, 2026).According to the police, the accident occurred around 12.30 a.m. when the cruiser vehicle (KA-38 N-1712), driven by Mashaq Saab, son of Rukmuddin of Ingalagi village, was proceeding from Yadgir towards Wadi. An Ashok Leyland lorry (TN-34 MA-8283), which was transporting parcel goods from Gujarat to Chennai, collided head-on with the cruiser vehicle.The impact of the collision was severe and five occupants of the cruiser vehicle died on the spot.
