The Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh on Monday launched its five-day summer camp at Gandhi Community Centre, near Jagannath Swami Temple in Visakhapatnam. Co-ordinator Sireesha said the camp, open to all age groups, was organised following the success of a recently concluded crochet summer camp.The inaugural session featured Warli art, conducted by resource person Venkata Ramana Valluri, a noted art teacher from Visakhapatnam. The camp, which will end on May 22, will cover Gond and Madhubani painting on subsequent days, followed by screen printing and craft work such as gift bags and envelopes on the concluding days.
