The Kerala Solid Waste Management Project (KSWMP) has started producing Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) through the bio-mining process at Njeliyanparamba.The first consignment of RDF was dispatched to the Dalmia Cement factory in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, where it will be utilised as a source of energy. The consignment was jointly flagged off by Kozhikode Corporation Mayor O. Sadasivan and District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh recently.
