The auctioning of e-waste produced by the various taluk police stations and special divisions is proposed to be held at the AR Grounds on May 25. Eligible bidders may view old computers, accessories, spare parts and batteries between 10 a.m and 3 p.m. Only those organisations with the State/Central Pollution Control Board certificate will be allowed to participate in the bidding. Those participating shall remit an advance deposit of ₹2,000. The auction will be conducted through an open auction system. The highest bidder will remit the entire auction amount along with the GST at the conclusion of auction, according to an police department release.
