A dog was rescued after being swept off rocks and swimming 800 meters to Snapper Island on the New South Wales south coast. The local Marine Rescue NSW team successfully coaxed the distressed dog onto a jetski amid rough conditions. The dog, believed to be named Oscar, is now recovering and efforts are underway to reunite him with his owners.
