Dead by Daylight has added another iconic horror character, Jason Voorhees, to its roster. Today, it earns that title once again as it welcomes another slasher icon into its roster, joining other such famous genre figures as Michael Meyers, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, and actor Nicolas Cage. Jason Voorhees, however, joins a select group of DbD killers with an additional distinction: previously launching his own Dead by Daylight-esque asymmetrical multiplayer game that inevitably tanked, leading the IP holders to give up and license the character to DbD anyway.
