He ranked second at Cedarville in scoring as a sophomore, averaging 14.9 points per game, after averaging 12.7 as a freshman.Johnson made the Great Midwest Athletic Conference first team in 2026.“Sam is joining us with a strong foundation and an impressive skill set on and off the floor,” Wright State coach Clint Sargent said in a press release. “We love his hunger to improve and his excitement to contribute to our program. He brings valuable depth to our frontcourt and plays with a high level of physicality when he has the ball in his hands.
