As West Bengal heads into the final phase of the Assembly election, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) have launched extensive patrolling operations named ‘All Out, Night Dominance, Kavach (shield), Trust’ to ensure a secure polling environment, a CAPF official said.More than 100 armoured and anti-riot vehicles have been deployed across sensitive areas to instil confidence among voters, the official said. The intensified security measures include round-the-clock area domination exercises, night patrols and high-visibility movement of forces.
