In a swift response, the Hoysala patrolling teams rescued two women in distress in separate incidents reported on Saturday.In the first incident, personnel attached to the K.R. Puram Police Station rescued a woman who allegedly attempted to end her life following a domestic quarrel. The police said a distress call was received through the Namma-112 emergency helpline around 4.14 p.m. regarding a homemaker at Ayyappa Nagar who was under severe emotional stress and attempting to end her life.The Hoysala-220 personnel, including woman assistant sub-inspector P. Veena and head constable Raghavendra, reached the spot within nine minutes and rescued the woman.
