A 22-year-old student of a private medical institution in Coimbatore was found dead in his hostel room on Friday, after he allegedly ended his life. The police said that Balaji, a fourth year B. Pharm student from Ariyalur, was found dead in the hostel within the campus located at Peelamedu. His room remained locked from inside unusually on Friday morning. He was found dead when others opened the door with force to check on him. The Peelamedu police shifted the body for post-mortem and launched an investigation.
