Augustus strikes gold in opening WA Leonora swing
Augustus Minerals has reported significant gold intersections from its first drilling campaign at the Clifton East prospect within the Music Well project near Leonora, Western Australia. The maiden reverse circulation drilling program returned shallow, wide intercepts including 16 meters at 1.46 grams per tonne gold and 32 meters at 0.9 grams per tonne gold with a higher-grade core. The results, derived from only a portion of a larger anomaly, suggest potential for a broader mineralised system across the project area.
