Arkansas Teen Sailor Killed At Pearl Harbor Will Finally Be Laid To Rest After Nearly 85 Years
The remains of Arkansas teenager Royle Luker, who died during the Pearl Harbor attack, will be laid to rest nearly 85 years after his death. He will receive full military honors during the burial ceremony on May 30 at New Bethel Cemetery in Plainview, Arkansas. Luker was only 17 when he perished aboard the USS West Virginia and was recently identified through modern forensic methods.
