The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited applications from children above 5 years not exceeding 18 years who have demonstrated excellence and outstanding contributions in the field of Sports, Social Service, Science Technology, Environment and Arts and Culture for selection of Pradhan Manthri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Award. Director of the Department of Women and Child Development S. Sathiyamoorthy in a release said the Ministry has set July 31 as the last date for submitting the nomination for the award.
