Apparent Epstein suicide note found by cellmate in 2019
A cellmate of Jeffrey Epstein, Nicholas Tartaglione, reportedly found a possible suicide note written by Epstein in July 2019, weeks before Epstein's death in federal custody. The note, discovered inside a graphic novel, was described as containing a cryptic farewell message and was later authenticated in late 2019 or early 2020. The document is currently stored in a New York courthouse vault, and the New York Times has requested its release, while the DOJ says it has never had possession of the note.
