anyone else find that claude code is way better when you basically write a mini PRD before starting

might just be me but I've been noticing this. the times I open claude code and just start typing what I want, I end up in this loop where it builds something close but not quite, I tweak the prompt, it changes too much, I revert, etc. couple hours go by. the times I sit down first and actually write out like , who's using this, what's the actual problem, what's in scope, what's out of scope, what does done mean ? claude code basically one-shots it. or close enough that I'm just polishing instead
