Nikola Jokic finished with a triple-double, scoring 27 points, dishing out 16 assists, and grabbing 12 rebounds. The win pulled things to a 3-2 series for the Nuggets, who previously looked on the verge of a first-round exit. However, the Timberwolves lost their backcourt in Game 4, and the news that has come in since isn't encouraging for their postseason chances.Read more: Dwyane Wade Sends Strong Message on Devin Booker Criticizing NBA Refs...DiVincenzo suffered a torn Achilles tendon within the first minute of Game 4 and immediately required help off the court. His season is over as he now faces surgery and a long road to recovery with rehabilitation for the injury.During the regular season, Ant-Edman and DiVincenzo accounted for a combined average of 41 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game.ESPN's NBA insider Shams Charania provided another update on Edwards during a recent "First Take." According to Charania, Edwards will miss at least two weeks after suffering a bone bruise and left knee hyperextension in the second quarter of Game 4.The NBA insider mentioned that Edwards also has dealt with runner's knee in his right knee, adding to the issues he's facing. If Edwards misses just two weeks, he could return in time for the second round of the playoffs, where Minnesota would face either the San Antonio Spurs or the Portland Trail Blazers. Currently, the Spurs lead that best-of-seven series, 3-1, and have a chance to advance tonight with a win. Charania said two weeks is the optimistic return timeline for Edwards, but the less optimistic outlook is that it could take longer. And that would hinge on Minnesota being able to advance, which, at this point, looks less likely without a huge Game 6.That game occurs on Thursday night in Minnesota. The Timberwolves' fans will likely be fired up for their team, hoping to see gritty performances from other talented players, including Randle, Dosunmu, and Jaden McDaniels.Read more: Ja Morant Draws Attention at Pistons-Magic Game With Former TeammateFor more about the Minnesota Timberwolves and the NBA, visit Newsweek Sports.Request Reprint & LicensingSubmit CorrectionView Editorial & AI GuidelinesRelated PodcastsTop StoriesFor MembersAnalysisHow the Iran War Scored Trump His Biggest OPEC Win Yet5 min readFor MembersAnalysisThe First Rule of Robot War: Keep the Humans Fighting6 min readWorldGermany Can Now Make More Ammunition Than The US, Says Weapons Giant3 min readFor MembersAnalysisDonald Trump Should Let Jimmy Kimmel’s Career Die of Natural Causes6 min readPoliticsHow ‘Bulletproof’ White House Ballroom Would Change Trump’s Security7 min readNewsSecret Service Faces Review As Agency Fails To Learn Lessons From Butler6 min readTrendingOhioSupreme Court Deals Final Blow to Ex-GOP Speaker in $60M Bribery Case6 min readGreen CardGreen Card Update: Applicants Impacted by Trump Travel Ban Get Legal Win6 min readDogsDog Trainer Reveals 5 Signs Your Pup Feels…
